HOMETOWN WORKSHOPS
Hometown is a collective with the mission to empower young people and their communities through creativity, self expression and music. We celebrate these communities and provide skills, knowledge and mentorship to help reduce engagement with the justice system, support self-agency and inspire change.
Our current pilot music program brings together prominent rappers, experienced music producers and justice focused caseworkers to deliver high quality music workshops for young people in regional areas. The goal is to empower young people to tell their stories, understand their situations , vent their emotions and have fun and as a result, stay on track and inspire others to do the same.
